Spinal stenosis is a stricture of the spinal canal that may involve the canal around the spinal cord and neuroforamen around the segmental nerve.
Spinal stenosis more commonly occurs in the cervical and lumbar spine. Symptoms may include neck and low back pain associated with arm and/or leg pain, numbness and weakness. In some cases, bowel and.or bladder dysfuntion can occur. The diagnosis is confirmed by history, physical findings and appropriate radiologic study, usually MRI scan.

New Technology for Chronic Pain Suffers
Administering ultrasound guided joint, tendon, muscle and cartiladge injections is a non-invasive, non-ionizing interventional pain management modality thats gaining popularity. The option provides direct visualization of soft tissues while offering real-time needle advancements without the risks of radiation. Doctors can diagnose soft tissue areas impacted by pain as they are administering steroid, platelet rich plasma injections. This diagnostic ability allows the provider to target the pain with greater precision. Ultrasound guided joint, tendon, muscle and cartilage injections offer an easier and more effective way to free patients from pain.
* Treatment plans range from less invasive procedures such as Platelet Rich Plasma Injections to more complex procedures such as Kyphoplasty, MILD procedure, Percutaneous Disc Decompression, Spinal Cord Stimulators, and Programmable Medication Pump Implants. Epidural Sterios Injections
Epidural steroid injection is a technique in which corticosteroids and a local anesthetic are injected into the epidural space around the spinal cord in an effort to improve spinal stenosis, spinal disc herniation, or both. It is of unclear benefit with a rare rate of major side effects.....
Nerve Root Injections
A nerve root injection assists in determining which nerve root is responsible for your leg or arm pain and may be used in an attempt to decrease the pain from an inflamed nerve...
Auricular Electrical Percutaneous Neurostimulation Therapy
Percutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (PENS) and percutaneous neuromodulation therapy (PNT) have been evaluated for the treatment of a variety of chronic musculoskeletal or neuropathic pain conditions including low back pain, neck pain, diabetic neuropathy, chronic headache, and surface hyperalgesia....
Intrathecial Drug Delivery System Therapy
In intrathecal drug delivery, pain medications and/or medications used for spasticity are introduced directly to the spinal fluid (intrathecal space) through a drug delivery system comprised of a pump and catheter.....
